Feel free to ask anything you like about transcribing or the virtual industry.
This E-book is packed with everything you need to know about working from home as a transcriptionist in South Africa. I started out as a transcriptionist in 2005 and I’ve included everything I’ve learned along the way that I wish someone had told me.

By writing this here we confirm that all our work is treated with the highest confidentiality, but we are also happy to sign confidentiality clauses in this regard. Please note that we will certify our transcripts on request.
At present I don’t have work to outsource, but sometimes I do, and if you send me your CV please save it with your surname, name, ie Smith, Jane – followed by what type of transcription you do – Sotho, Zulu, Medical, etc.
You may also follow me on Facebook and / or Twitter @TypewriteSA as when I do get job leads I usually put them out there.
Please also peruse this website as well as my blog www.typewritetranscription.blogspot.com. I’m participating in a blogging challenge this year, and in addition to the extensive info that is already on there, more informative posts will be coming out in the coming months.
Lastly, you should also buy my ebook. as it’s invaluable for newbies:http://typewritetranscription.co.za/ebook/
I also run a celebrity / pop culture blog which deals with the golden thread of humanity and how we can all tweak it. It looks at 70s / 80s pop culture and gives exposure to causes that are important to me. It's called Pop Speaking. Check it out.
